Two Crossing Wines Make The Top Ten List
in PA Wine Excellence Competition
For the the third consecutive year, Crossing Vineyards was one of a handful of wineries honored in the 2012 Wine Excellence Competition sponsored by the Pennsylvania Wine Society. Crossing's 2008 Cabernet Merlot blend and its 2008 Merlot were named as two of ten finalists for "Wine of the Year." Crossing's estate grown and bottled Chambourcin 2008 made the top twenty list and earned honorable mention in the contest.
The awards ceremony will be held at the Harrisburg Hilton on January 15 at 2PM.

Crossing Sweeps in Jefferson Cup Invitational
Crossing Vineyards' Merlot 2008, Estate Late Harvest Vidal Blanc 2009 and the newly released (and sold out!) Chocolate Cherry Truffle earned "Medals of American Merit" in the 12th Annual Jefferson Cup Wine Competition held in Kansas City, MO, November 18-19, 2011.
This unique "invitation only" contest pre-selects wines which exemplify American viticulture and winemaking, then honors "the best of the best" from all America's wine regions.

Best of the Best: Crossing's Viognier 2008 Scores Platinum in Lodi Consumer Awards Competition
Crossing Vineyards' 2008 Viognier placed 2nd out of almost 700 wines in a recent international wine competition in Lodi California. Viognier '08 scored 97 points out of a possible 100, earning a Platinum medal. CVW's Late Harvest Vidal Blanc '09 earned silver and Riesling '09 earned bronze in this competition, which focuses on consumer tastes and preferences.
